Ijaw Chiefs Criticise First Lady Over Alleged Involvement in Local Affairs, Raise Security Concerns
A group of Ijaw chiefs has criticised Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, over what they describe as her involvement in political matters relating to Warri, urging her to focus on her constitutional role and family responsibilities.
According to them
“The First Lady, Remi Tinubu, is sitting in Abuja. Instead of focusing on taking care of her husband and family, she is putting her hands into Warri affairs.Children are being kidnapped in Oyo State, and children are also being kidnapped in Northern Nigeria.
As a mother, does she have no feelings? Is that the woman who calls herself a mother? She should return to her responsibilities by taking good care of her husband and children. She has no place in the constitutional structure of Nigeria’s presidency. We are tired of the nonsense from the Itsekiris. We are prepared for it. Let the nation know that we are ready.”
