
Brymo insists “Èṣù is the devil,” responds to Prof. Wole Soyinka’s interpretation of Yoruba spirituality
Singer Brymo has sparked fresh debate after restating his controversial position on the identity of Èṣù, while also responding to interpretations associated with Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka.
Brymo argued that Èṣù aligns with the concept of the devil and claimed that deception is a human trait rather than a spiritual one. He also referenced biblical and Islamic narratives in his explanation.
