Community Intelligence Key to Fighting Kidnapping” — Orji Uzor Kalu Urges Public Cooperation
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has emphasized the critical role of local communities in tackling insecurity, particularly kidnapping across the country.
Highlighting a recent successful operation, the former Abia State governor noted that cooperation from residents played a decisive role in locating and confronting the criminals.
“The local people cooperated by providing information about the whereabouts of the kidnappers, which was crucial to the operation. I encourage communities, regardless of tribe or ethnicity, to continue sharing timely information with the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other security agencies whenever they have credible intelligence,” Kalu said.
