A claim circulating online alleges that more than 50 bodies have been recovered following a deadly attack on residents of Otukpo in Benue State.
The report, shared by social commentator VeryDarkMan, linked the incident to suspected Fulani herdsmen and suggested it may have been triggered by the reported death of a Miyetti Allah leader.
“Over 50 dead bodies have been recovered after Fulani herdsmen attacked residents in Otukpo, Benue State, this morning following the reported death of a Miyetti Allah leader,” he stated.
