Isaac Fayose Reacts to Arrest of ‘Fake’ PFIPC DG, Questions Government Oversight
Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has reacted to the reported arrest of an alleged fake Director-General of the PFIPC, Adeyemi, raising concerns about accountability within government systems.
Fayose questioned how the individual was able to operate at such a high level, reportedly securing office space at the Federal Secretariat, running an official Central Bank account, and having billions allocated in the national budget. He also pointed out that individuals allegedly linked to the case are yet to face consequences.
“The Fake PFIPC Director-General, Adeyemi, has been arrested, yet the individuals he mentioned their names are still walking free. This is someone who was given an office at the Federal Secretariat, facilitated by government officials, operated an official CBN account, and had ₦24 billion allocated in the national budget. Government magic indeed. Only in Nigeria,” he said.
