Akpabio Announces ₦50 Million Support for Families of Oriire Abduction Victims
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has announced a ₦50 million donation to support the families of victims who lost their lives in the Oriire abduction incident in Oyo State.
According to Akpabio, the decision was reached after consultations with relevant leadership, as part of efforts to provide relief to those affected by the tragedy.
“After discussion with the leadership, we decided to support the families of the deceased victims of the Oriire abduction with a token of ₦50 million,” he said.
