It Is God’s Grace” — Sunday Igboho Reflects on Escape from DSS Raid
Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Igboho has revisited the dramatic night his residence was invaded by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), attributing his escape to divine intervention.
Speaking on the incident, Igboho said his survival and ability to flee during the raid was purely by “God’s grace,” emphasizing that the situation could have ended differently. The operation, which took place in 2021, drew widespread attention after reports of gunfire, casualties, and arrests at his Ibadan home.
