“I Was Clearly Rigged Out of the Last Election” — Peter Obi
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has alleged that he was denied victory in Nigeria’s last presidential election, claiming that he travelled extensively across the country during his campaign.
Speaking to international journalist Tamara Scott, Obi called on the international community to support efforts toward ensuring free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.
In his words, he said:
“No Nigerian politician has ever travelled the length and breadth of this country the way I do. I was clearly rigged out of the last election. I am calling on the international community to help us secure free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.”
