David Umahi’s Son, Osbourne Umahi, Wins Ohaozara LGA Chairmanship Election, Vows to Reject Salary
Osbourne Umahi, son of Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, has reportedly won the Ohaozara Local Government Area chairmanship election in Ebonyi State.
Speaking after his victory, Osbourne reportedly said he would not accept any salary or allowance as chairman, insisting that his intention was to serve the people rather than make money.
“I won’t accept salary or allowance as Ohaozara LGA chairman. I am coming to serve and not to make money.” He said
