Odumodu Blvck Shares How Giving His Last ₦4,000 to a Beggar Led to ₦1 Million Gift
Nigerian rapper Odumodu Blvck has shared how an unexpected act of kindness was followed by a ₦1 million gift.
The rapper revealed that after changing some dollars to naira, he gave most of the money to his church, mother and aunties. On his way home with Mizzle, he encountered a 7-year-old beggar and gave him the ₦4,000 he had left for his Bolt fare.
In his words he said:
“I had only ₦4k naira left in my pocket and it was supposed to be for my Bolt. I just decided to give the boy the money and out of excitement, he ran forward and backward with gratitude.
Other kids came asking for their own share and then Mizzle had ₦10k on him. I told him to give them so when we get home I would do a transfer to him.When we reached home, somebody called me and sent me ₦1 million naira because he likes my music.”
