I’m Not Here to Teach You Law; I’m Here to Share Experience” — VeryDarkMan at NBA Conference
Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has responded to the controversy surrounding his invitation to speak at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference.
Addressing the criticism, VDM said he was not invited to teach lawyers about the law but to share his personal experiences, particularly on issues relating to the theme of his session, “Known Gunmen.”
He said:
“There has been a lot of debate about why I was invited to this NBA conference. I’m not here to teach you people law; I’m here to share experience. I’m sure those people debating didn’t actually see the topic ‘Known Gunmen.’ This is not a topic of ‘May it please my lord,’ because your lords are being kidnapped.”
