We Say We Have a Country, But We Don’t Have a Country; We Have a Joke” — Rufai Oseni
Arise TV journalist and broadcaster Rufai Oseni has questioned the credibility and academic records of some presidential candidates seeking to lead Nigeria.
Speaking on Arise TV, Oseni questioned why some presidential candidates allegedly find it difficult to present their academic certificates and results from primary school through university despite claiming to possess them.
He said:
“We say we have a country, but we don’t have a country; we have a joke. Why is it so difficult for some presidential candidates to present their results and certificates from primary school to university, as they claim they have them? Why do we have candidates whose results and schools they presented many years ago are no longer commensurate with what exists today, yet these people want to lead millions of Nigerians?”
