Actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has shared relationship advice with her fans, urging them not to lose themselves in the pursuit of love.

In her post, Akindele spoke about building something meaningful from scratch, highlighting the sleepless nights, sacrifices, and hard work that come with it.
She noted that after putting in the work and recognition begins to come, distractions will surface in different forms, including love.
The mother of two stressed that nothing is wrong with falling in love, but cautioned that individuals must stay grounded, know their self-worth, and prioritise self-love.
She said staying focused is key to sustaining success and avoiding losing one’s identity in a relationship.
She wrote, “You work so hard, sleepless nights, sacrifices, building something from scratch. Then come the accolades! But distractions will come in different forms, sometimes even as love. Nothing wrong with falling in love, oh! Just don’t lose yourself. Know your worth, stay focused and love yourself first. I’m preaching to myself too!”
