A Nigerian woman has shared a distressing experience after what she described as a disappointing first meeting with a man from a “talking stage.”
According to her, they agreed to meet at a Shoprite outlet, where the man bought her ice cream during their outing.
She narrated:
“I was in my house peacefully, that was how this idiot from nowhere, this talking stage told me that we should see. I said okay and booked a cab to meet him at Shoprite.
We met, and he bought me ice cream. The next thing this guy said is that I should follow him home. I said no, I can’t follow you home, I don’t know you.
I told him, ‘Oya, give me money for cab, I want to start going home.’
That was how he said no and walked away. Now I’m stranded.”
