Lady Says Friendship Ended After Food Incident at Friend’s House
A lady has shared a story online about how a long-standing friendship ended over a disagreement involving food, sparking mixed reactions on social media.
She said
Whenever she comes to my house, I allow her to serve herself. She would stir my soup to pick the choicest protein. And each time I complained, she would say ‘sebi I don’t have anyone else who’s coming to eat the soup, and I should feel lucky she’s with me to eat it.’”
According to her,
the situation escalated after she visited her friend, who is now married. “I visited her. She’s married. After preparing dinner for her husband, I did not allow her to serve me. Just before her husband came back, I went to serve myself… I made sure I stirred it to pick three choicest meats.”
She added that her action upset her friend, and the relationship eventually ended.
She got angry and I did not apologise for it. Sebi, it’s just her husband. He’ll understand. She stopped coming to my house and I stopped too. It was later I heard from another friend that that incident was why she cut me off.”
