
Woman Cries Out After Losing Remote Job Over Poor Network Quality in Nigeria
A Nigerian woman has gone viral after emotionally recounting how unstable internet service contributed to her losing a remote customer service job.
In a distressing video, she explained that she invested her savings in purchasing large data bundles from major telecom providers, including MTN Nigeria and Airtel Nigeria, in order to meet the requirements of a remote call center role.
Her words
This is the third time Nigeria is happening to me. I packed all my savings to buy huge data on MTN and Airtel for this remote call center job, but clients kept complaining they couldn’t hear me because of the network. I’m disabled, and now I’ve lost my job because of these terrible networks.”
