Nkem Owoh Opens Up on Emotional Loss of Brother During Military Era
Veteran Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh has spoken about a deeply personal and painful experience from Nigeria’s military era, recalling the loss of his brother, Bartholomew Owoh.
He described his brother as both a sibling and close friend, noting the emotional impact the incident had on him at the time.
According to him, he was working with Anambra Television when the incident occurred, and he expressed how devastated and emotional he felt upon hearing the news.
He said
It was about my brother that was killed during the military era. He was a brother and a friend because we were close.Infact, I was working with the Anambra Television that time and I was so furious that I was shedding tears along the corridors.The only thing that touched me most was the fact that they had to shift the effective date of that decree.”
