Bucci Franklin Opens Up on Difficult Childhood, Speaks on Single Parenting and Father Figures
Nigerian actor Bucci Franklin has shared a deeply personal account of his upbringing, revealing struggles with abandonment and drug use during his childhood.
According to him, his early life was unstable due to family challenges, he stated :
“I was a hot mess as a child. My dad abandoned me. My mom raised me alone, and I turned to drugs.”
He also reflected on the challenges of single parenting, especially in raising male children:
“It’s not easy being a single parent. You need a man in your life. You need a father figure for male children.”
