Harrison Gwamnishu Raises Alarm Over Viral Video of Alleged Police Officer Threatening Civilians
Activist Harrison Gwamnishu has reacted to a trending video showing an alleged Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) issuing threats against anyone who records him while on duty.
In his reaction, Gwamnishu described the officer’s comments as a serious threat to public safety, warning that such behaviour could endanger civilians during routine police operations such as stop-and-search.
He said
This is a police officer, ASP thr£aten!ng to sh00 t anyone that’s records him on duty, It’s important Nigerians see this video. This is a clear thr£at because we don’t know where this police officer is operating, and someone could be h@rm£d while recording during a stop-and-search operation. I’ve said it before, some of these officers need to be subjected to drvg tests.
