Enoch Adeboye Urges Swift Action Against Terrorism, Calls for Accountability from Security Chiefs
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigeria’s security leadership to intensify efforts in combating terrorism, urging decisive results within a defined timeframe.
Speaking on the role of leadership and governance, Adeboye emphasized that while citizens and leaders can offer advice to the Commander-in-Chief, they cannot issue direct commands.
“You cannot command the Commander-in-Chief; you can only advise him. Because if you can command the Commander-in-Chief, then you become the commander of the Commander-in-Chief,” If I were asked to make suggestions, I would say quietly to our government: move fast. And tell our security chiefs, get rid of these terrorists within 90 days, or resign,” he stated.
