No Proof of Forgery, Constitution Allows Equivalent Qualification” — APC’s Alwan Hassan Defends Tinubu
A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alwan Hassan, has dismissed allegations of certificate forgery against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisting that no official institution has made such a claim.
Speaking on the matter, Hassan stated that Chicago State University has not declared the certificate submitted by Tinubu to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as forged.
In his words, he said
“There is nowhere that Chicago State University says the certificate President Tinubu submitted to INEC is forged,” What the Constitution says is a ‘school cert’ or its equivalent. An equivalent of a ‘school cert’ is the ability to read and write.”
