We Don’t Want to Hear a Different Story Tomorrow” — Family of 22-Year-Old Allegedly Shot by Police Officer Demands Justice
The family of 22-year-old Anthony Obodo, who was allegedly shot by a police officer at Agip in Rivers State, has called on the Nigeria Police Force to ensure justice is served over his death.
The family made the demand when police officers visited them following the young man’s death.
They said:
“We want the Nigeria Police to guarantee us, the family, justice. We don’t want to hear a different story tomorrow, maybe they will claim that it was an ‘accidental discharge’.
