My Parents Didn’t Support My Acting Dream” — Amuda Eko Reflects on Early Nollywood Struggles
Nollywood actor Amuda Eko has opened up about the challenges he faced at the start of his career, revealing that his parents initially opposed his decision to pursue acting.
According to the actor, their concern stemmed from the instability of the industry at the time, especially as it required him to leave his tailoring job.
In his words, he said:
“My parents didn’t support my acting dream because it would have meant leaving my tailoring job, Theatre is easier now, but back then you could spend up to a month on one location.”
