Cement Prices Show How Things Have Changed” – Man Criticizes Current Government
A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after comparing the price of cement across different administrations, using it to question the performance of recent governments.
Referencing past leaders including Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan, Muhammadu Buhari, and current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he outlined how prices have allegedly risen over the years.
He said:
“Under Obasanjo, 100 bags of cement was ₦105,000. During Yar’Adua’s administration, it rose to ₦117,500. Under Goodluck Jonathan, it increased to ₦170,000. Under Buhari, it went up to ₦400,000, and today under President Tinubu, it is about ₦1.2 million.
You have to be daft to say the APC government has done well.”
